The Ruling Elites
This is the second post in this series. The first one here.
I continue with my analysis of the Japan’s ruling elites. As a quick refresher, the elites are a small proportion of population who concentrate social power in their hand. Social power comes in four basic flavors: military/coercion, economic, administrative/political, and ideological/persuasion, each coming with a segment of elites who specialize in it. States, both historic and contemporary, vary in which source, or sources, of social power is emphasized by their ruling classes (more details in Chapter 1 of End Times).
